That’s Wenatchee’s motto (when it isn’t touting itself as the Apple Capital of the World or home of the world’s largest apple pie, that is).
Today met all of this criteria. We had a lovely visit with our Canadian friend, T, and his girlfriend, K. We took them on the Snow Lakes trail near Leavenworth. The river is gushing at the moment! Then we enjoyed some prime urban hiking and kitsch shopping in faux Bavaria before checking out the new brewery for lunch. All in all it has been a lovely way to spend a lazy rainy day.
